Family Discipleship December Week 3

This weeks memory verse is: 
 Behold , I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.  (Gen 28:15)

Here are a few questions for your family to discuss this week based on the teaching your kids received in class on Sunday. Space these questions out throughout the week and find natural times to bring them up. Use these questions to spark conversation over dinner or on a car ride.

Question One: How do you think Jacob felt when he learned that Esau was trying to kill him? How would you feel if you were Jacob? What about if you were Esau?

Question Two: Do you think he doubted God was going to take care of him?

Question Three: What do you remember about the dream that God gave Jacob? What did Jacob learn about God?

Question Four: What did God promise Abraham, Isaac and Jacob would happen to all the families of the earth? Did God keep that promise? If so, how?

Question Five: God mWho is called Savior and Immanuel (God with us)? How is the fact that Jesus saves a blessing to all people? How is the fact that Jesus is "God with us" a blessing to all people?
