February Week 4 Family Discipleship
February 25th - March 2nd
You're Not the boss of Me
Watch the Youtube video of this week's lesson.
This weeks big truth is:
Know therefore today that he who goes over before you as a
consuming fire is the Lord your God. (Deut. 9:3)
Know therefore today that he who goes over before you as a
consuming fire is the Lord your God. (Deut. 9:3)
This weeks memory verse is:
Know therefore today that he who goes over before you as a
consuming fire is the Lord your God. (Deut. 9:3)
Know therefore today that he who goes over before you as a
consuming fire is the Lord your God. (Deut. 9:3)
Here are a few questions for your family to discuss this week based on the teaching your kids received in class on Sunday. Space these questions out throughout the week and find natural times to bring them up. Use these questions to spark conversation over dinner or on a car ride.
Question One: Whom did God chose to lead his people out of Egypt and through the wilderness? Did the Israelites always like them?
Question Two: How did God feel when the Israelites treated Moses and Arron badly? How about when we treat people badly?
Question Three: How did Arron save the people? How is Arron kind of like Jesus? What did Jesus do to save us?
Question Four: What are some big milestones do you have in your family? What milestone did you look forward to most growing up? What is your child looking forward to most?
Question Five: Take this opportunity to talk over your decision to follow Christ with your child. Talk over any questions they may have about being a Christ follower.
